WeShare: Our Community Fund

We depend on our communities for three main things in order to operate successfully: individuals who dispose of their waste responsibly, a steady pipeline of talented people to join our business, and a diverse network of suppliers and partners who help us deliver our services.

In recognition of this, we launched our WeShare Community Fund with a commitment to allocate £320,000 annually to support donations that are championed by our people. Funding is awarded on a set of criteria based around sustainability, local need, community involvement, value for money and education. It is underpinned by Viridor's purpose:  to build a world where nothing goes to waste.
