Tees Valley Community Benefit Fund
The Viridor Tees Valley Community Fund is helping charities and community organisations across the North East to deliver projects that make a lasting difference to local people.
Not-for-profit organisations within the area served by the Tees Valley Energy Recovery Facility are invited to apply.
The £200,000 annual funding will support projects that create meaningful local impact and that are aligned with our key criteria, including sustainability, environmental benefit, community need, local involvement, and education and skills development.
More information can be found in the funding criteria.
An independent panel meets throughout the year to review eligible applications and decide how the fund should be distributed. The day-to-day administration of the fund is managed by Viridor, and our governance team reviews how the funds have been distributed on an annual basis.
