Our facilities
Our Quantafuel operational facilities are located in Skive, Denmark, Esbjerg, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden and are working hard to recycle plastics and move us forward on our journey towards a circular economy. These facilities are supported by a team based in Oslo, Norway.
We’re proud to be shaping the future of circular plastics through our Quantafuel business. Across three strategic operational locations—Skive in Denmark, Esbjerg on the Danish coast, and Malmö in Sweden—we are advancing cutting-edge Plastics-to-Liquids (PtL) technologies that turn plastic waste into valuable resources.
In Esbjerg, we are building one of Europe’s most advanced plastic sortation and processing facilities designed to handle 160,000 tonnes of plastic waste annually.
Our facility in Skive is Quantafuel’s first commercial PtL, and a global first in chemical recycling – it processes up to 20,000 tonnes of mixed plastic waste every year.
Our Research and Development site in Malmö, Sweden plays a vital role in supporting the wider Quantafuel network through advanced laboratory testing and pilot-scale research. It is here that we refine feedstock analysis and validate material quality. Malmö’s work ensures that our recycled outputs meet the highest standards for reuse in new plastic products.
In addition, we have an Oslo office where our Quantafuel central services, central engineering and project management teams are located.
