Omar was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Viridor Group in June 2023.

Since 2015, he has been the CFO of 3 other private equity sponsored companies in the industrials and services sectors where he has been privileged to work with high quality teams to drive step change improvements across safety, operational, commercial and financial performance. 

Prior to 2015, Omar spent 16 years with Royal Dutch Shell where he worked across the energy value chain and in 75 countries across the globe. 

Viridor provides a great platform to answer the society level challenge to de-carbonise and Omar is very excited to be part of the Viridor team to deliver these answers.

Omar is married with three kids and loves being in the countryside.
