As Scotland’s resources and renewable energy leader, Viridor is giving the world’s resources new life.

This year’s event takes place on 28th and 29th October 2014 and focuses on the role of the resources industry in creating a sustainable green economy. Speakers include the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Food and the Environment Richard Lochhead MSP, Viridor Chief Executive Ian McAulay, renowned economist and writer Frances Cairncross MBE, and manufacturing expert Professor Richard Harris, as well as senior figures from Ellen Macarthur Foundation and the Green Investment Bank.
Viridor Chief Executive Ian McAulay will provide a keynote address on ‘Leadership perspectives on sustainable resource management’ at 12 noon on Tuesday 28th October. He will discuss the shift from waste to resource management as part of the emergence, globally, of a green economy.
