Viridor Head of Local Authority Development, Simon Prior, said: “We first started working with Kent County Council in 2014 and being able to continue our partnership with Kent County Council is fantastic news.
“By continuing to work together, we can increase the amount of material that Kent recycles, using our state-of-the-art Materials Recycling Facility in Crayford, South East London, driving a more circular economy by maximising the recycling opportunities which Kent residents create when they put the Right Stuff in the Right Bin.”
Kay Groves, Waste Services Manager at Kent County Council, said: “Kent County Council Waste Management is pleased to announce that by mutual consent the contract between Kent County Council and Viridor Waste Management Ltd for the West and Mid Kent Dry Recyclables Processing Contracts has been extended for a further two years to 3 July. 2020.”
