Viridor is delighted to confirm that its Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Ardley, near Bicester, has been granted its ‘Acceptance Certificate’ marking the end of the EPC contract and completion of the construction phase of the facility. The facility is now fully operational under the management of Viridor.
Recycling, resources and waste management company Viridor, has signed a three year deal with a consortium of the two major contractors to build a ‘next generation’ Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) just weeks after announcing that work would proceed on the £177m project at Dunbar in East Lothian.
Viridor and its construction partners – BW Volund, Interserve and Fichtner – are working to the highest standards to complete the construction of the Peterborough Energy Recovery Facility (ERF). Today they celebrated achieving 200,000 man hours – equivalent to nearly 23 years – without time lost to accident or injury.
