The Reuse Shop at Viridor’s Priorswood Recycling Centre, Taunton, Somerset is celebrating a year of growing success.

Viridor was delighted to welcome The Mayor of Medway Councillor Barry Kemp to their new state-of-the-art Plastics Recycling Facility (PRF) in Rochester today. The £12.5 million facility will help local councils and businesses to recycle more of their plastic ‘waste’ into quality raw materials for industry.

Viridor and its construction partners Lagan Construction and CNIM are celebrating the achievement of working one million man hours without a lost time accident (LTA) during the construction of the Energy Recovery Facility at Trident Park, Cardiff. 

Viridor today commented on the release of waste statistics for the UK.

RWM 2014, the leading industry event for the sustainable waste and resource management sector, has now come to a close and Viridor once again had a big presence at the show with over 70 Viridor staff in attendance across three days.
