12. Recycle Week 2014 Competition
Terms and Conditions of the £100 prize draw operating at Viridor operated HWRC sites across Somerset, West Sussex, Torfaen and Monmouthshire in South Wales
The promotion will run from 16 – 23 June in Somerset and West Sussex and 16 – 30 June in South Wales.
The £100 free prize draw is open to residents in these areas age 18 and over who bring small electrical items to these sites between dates specified for each region.
Applicants will need to provide their name and a contact phone number to enter the competition. These details will be used to notify the winners and not for any other purpose.
The four draws (one for each region) will be made on Thursday 26 June 2014 (for West Sussex and Somerset) and 7 July for Torfaen and Monmouthshire and the winners notified by telephone within seven days of the draw. If any winner has not responded within 14 days of notification then Viridor reserves the right to reallocate the prize.
The winners’ names will be posted on this website after 7 July 2014 for at least one month.
Each winner will have the choice of £100 in vouchers from Amazon, Sainsbury’s or Marks and Spencer.
By entering the draw, the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. While the pledge to keep recycling is non-binding within the draw, it is hoped that prize draw entrants will make a commitment to continue recycling.
No purchase necessary. The winners will be selected at random from all entries received in that region. The prize is not transferable. The draw winners must collect their prize at a mutually agreed recycling centre and time, provide a signature to prove receipt, and be willing to have their photograph taken and used for publicity purposes.
The promoter is Viridor, Viridor House, Priory Bridge Road, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 1AP. Employees of Viridor, Somerset Waste Partnership, West Sussex County Council and Torfaen County Council their families or anyone else connected with this promotion, are not eligible to win. Entries not submitted in accordance with the rules, illegible, incomplete or altered will be disqualified.
The promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. In the event of any dispute regarding the terms and conditions or any other matters relating to this prize draw, the promoter’s decision shall be final. No correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
