Mr Tippin' reinstated after local campaign
Mr Tippin', a popular character at Viridor's public recycling centre in Usk, has been reinstated following a local campaign.

Viridor, the recycling and waste management company which runs the recycling centre, reconsidered the decision to remove Mr Tippin', the site mascot, after receiving a letter from local office worker Linda Vokes.
She said: "I was writing to Viridor to commend them on how well they maintain and operate the recycling centre at Usk, and thought I'd take the opportunity to ask them to bring back Mr Tippin' as he was a talking point in the town and missed by local people."
Paul Smith, who manages Viridor's recycling centre in Usk, said: "We recognised the mistake we'd made by giving Mr Tippin' his marching orders. Now he's back we'll make every effort to keep him up-to-date with the latest fashion trends from the textiles banks at the recycling centre."
Keep an eye out for Mr Tippin' at other recycling centres in Monmouthshire over the coming months including Llanfoist, Caerwent and Mitchel Troy.
