Changes to Duty of Care Regulations

We prepare our customer's waste transfer notes in order to ensure that all aspects of the Duty of Care requirements are met when we collect their waste for recycling or waste disposal.

These amendments are part of the Waste (England Wales) Regulations 2011, which will now require your Standard Industrial Classification (SIC code) to be included on the transfer note plus a declaration confirming that you have applied the Waste Hierarchy in your decision to send your waste along with the chosen disposal/treatment route.

These measures are scheduled to be introduced on 28 September 2011.
